Published on by Kueens

Since XAVC is not yet popular to the world, not many programs can convert the XAVC footages to DVD disc, especially for the Mac users. Therefore, if you need to burn XAVC to DVD on Mac, you need to use a third-party professional XAVC to DVD Creator for Mac.

Recommended program: Doremisoft DVD Maker for Mac which can effortlessly burn all XAVC videos to DVD with high quality on Mac (fully support Mac OS X Mountain Lion) with gorgeous free DVD menu or templates to customize the DVD.

Of course, before burning the DVD, you can do some editing on the editors like FCP, iMovie, AVID, etc. (For Windows users, perhaps they would like to import XAVC to Windows Movie Maker to edit). But remember one thing that some editors cannot open the XAVC files, such as FCP 7, iMovie and Windows Movie Maker, etc. so make sure you convert XAVC to FCP 7, iMovie or convert XAVC to Movie Maker accepted format beforehand.

OK, after the editing, you can now burn the XAVC footages to DVD following the guides below:

1. Import the source XAVC files to the Mac DVD Maker by clicking "Add File" button. you can add multiple files to the program at a time, and you can rearrange the playing order of these videos by simply hitting the up/down arrows.

2. Customize menu template (optional): You can change the DVD Background, Menu Title, Button Style and Frame in the "Advanced" editing interface up to your favorite style.

3. When you finish customize the DVD, you can preview the final result by clicking the little "TV" icon. If you are satisfied with the effect, insert a DVD disc to your DVD drive and press the big "Burn" button and choose "DVD" profile.
